About the Journal


The TCR is an international scientific journal devoted for promotion and utilization of latest research and developments related to various scientific and technological aspects of carbohydrates. The TCR is an endeavor of the Association of Carbohydrate Chemists and Technologists, India (ACCTI). The ACCTI (www.accti.in) founded in 1986 provides a common platform for people from carbohydrate related industry on one hand and scientists and technologists working in the field of carbohydrate chemistry in academic and research institute on the other hand, to exchange ideas, developments and industrial requirements related to carbohydrates. The ACCTI, in collaboration with a R&D institute or University, through conference, presents a productive interaction of a wide array of the researchers, technocrats, academicians, industrialists and planners every year. As a commitment to encourage research, education and communication, the ACCTI has published the research presented in the conference in form of a book series titled “Trends in Carbohydrate Chemistry”. Ten volumes of the book have been published. The electronic form of all these volumes will also be available on the journal’s website.

The TCR, a subscribed and peer-reviewed journal, is published quarterly. The website www.trendscarbo.com may be surfed for a hands on experience.
